Guide to the Derwent Valley Heritage Way

Available from the end of February 2015

A 55 mile (88.5km) walk from Ladybower Reservoir to the River Trent at Shardlow.

Size: approx. 23cm x 13cm with 96 pages in full colour.

The route is divided into 10 sections which can be walked individually or linked together. The text describes the route, what to see on the way and gives the options for public transport. It is supported with Ordnance Survey 1:25000 maps which clearly mark the route.

The picture on the left is of the front cover of the Guide. The Derwent Valley Heritage Way takes in a reservoir, the river itself, open countryside, 2 canals, the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, villages and towns, a stately home and numerous museums and other sites of interest.
